Push/Self-Propelled/Hybrid Mowers

    Our Push Mower / Self-Propelled / Hybrid Mower tune-up service includes:

    Change oil using SAE 30W. Remove spark plug and inspect to determine engine condition. Set gap and change spark plug. Re-torque cylinder head bolts. Drain fuel system and carburetor. Remove and clean air filter housing. Clean float bowl and main jet. Check float level and reassemble using new float bowl gasket $3.75. (Install new air box gasket on all Briggs and Stratton engines $3.75). Remove cover and inspect self-propel drive system - if applicable. Clean underside of mower deck. Remove, sharpen and balance blade (replace if too damaged to sharpen). Clean and lube front and rear wheel axles. Level mower deck height of cut to 2.5". Lube engine brake and drive engagement handle pivots. Vacuum top of mower and wipe clean. Add sufficient stabilized fuel to performance test mower and check readiness for summer mowing season.

Rear Engine Riding Mowers / Lawn Tractors / Zero Turn Mowers

    Our Rear Engine Riding Mower / Lawn Tractor / Zero Turn Mower tune-up service includes:

    Inflate tires. Change oil using SAE 30W (and filter, if so equipped). Change or clean air filter and clean air box. Drain carburetor bowl and inspect fuel lines. Change fuel filter. Remove spark plug(s) and inspect to determine engine condition. Set gap and install new spark plug(s). Lightly clean underside of mower deck. Remove, sharpen & balance two mower blades (Add $10.00 for third blade, if applicable. Replace blades if needed upon customer approval). Inspect mower deck and drive belts. Lube deck lift pivots. Grease all front steering zerk fittings. Inspect battery and top charge if needed. Clean top surfaces of tractor. Add sufficient amount of stabilized fuel to test tractor for proper operation and summer mowing season readiness.

Snowblowers (Single or Two Stage)

    Our snowblower tune-up service includes:

    Wipe off snow blower housing, chassis, handle assembly and shrouds. Remove chute and cowling. Remove spark plug and inspect to determine engine condition. Set gap and install new spark plug. Drain fuel system, clean carburetor bowl and main jet. Replace fuel filter if so equipped. Change engine oil with 5W-30W (Full Synthetic 5W-30W available at additional cost) on 4 stroke single stage snow blowers. Clean and lube chute pivot mechanism. Re-assemble cowling. Remove auger belt cover, vacuum loose belt dust. Inspect belt condition, engagement bearing, cable and springs. Check auger belt engagement and adjust as necessary. Re-assemble cover. Replace if needed or adjust scraper blade. Lube handle pivots and axles. Refuel with sufficient stabilized fuel to test run and confirm proper operation and winter season readiness.

Bicycle Service & Repair

    Our bicycle tune-up service includes:

    Clean bike frame. Inflate tires to tire specified pressure. True front and rear wheels. Lube front and rear brake assembly pivots. Balance brake pad to rim engagement. Inspect chain with link stretch gage to determine chain condition. Suggest replacement to customer if needed. Lube chain. Clean front and rear derailleurs. Lubricate all derailleur pivot points and adjust for smooth and accurate shifting. Performance test all systems to insure proper adjustments have been made and readiness for bike riding season.

Hand-Held Power Equipment

    Our hand-held power equipment tune-up service includes:

    Clean external body. Remove recoil assembly and clear dust and debris from flywheel, shroud and cooling fins. Drain fuel tank. Inspect, clean or replace fuel filter. Remove air box/engine cowling. Remove air filter and brush/vacuum carburetor exterior and throttle linkage. Clean or replace air filter element. Remove spark plug and inspect to determine engine condition. Set gap and install new spark plug. Re-install air box/engine cowling. Fuel saw with stabilized fuel and test/tune for proper operation.

    Chain saw service also includes: Remove chain bar cover, bar and chain. Inspect chain brake. Clean saw chips from chain oiling system ports, sprocket and chain path. Inspect chain and bar. Sharpen chain with chain grinder. Clean chain/bar cover and micro adjust system. Install bar, chain and bar cover. Tighten chain to snap fit in bar groove. Check bar oil.

Portable Generators

    Our portable generator tune-up service includes:

    Clean generator frame, engine shrouding and commutator housing. Drain and change engine oil. Remove spark plug and inspect to determine engine condition. Set gap and install new spark plug. Remove air box and filter. Change/clean per filter style. Remove carburetor bowl nut, main jet, float bowl, float and needle assembly. Drain off bottom of fuel tank and determine if water is present in gas and carburetor. Clean emulsion tube, bowl vents, low speed pilot and main jet. Check float shut off level and seat condition. Install all removed and cleaned components. Refuel with sufficient stabilized fuel. Start engine and check/set engine no load RPM (3400 - 3,750) per manufacturers specification. Check Hz out put (59 - 63) Confirm proper engine operation and on-demand electrical power readiness.
